Scan the QR code inside the card and upload your video. Review the upload to make sure it plays the way you want. If it does, finalize it. If not, delete it and upload another when you’re ready.

When your recipient scans the QR code inside the card, your personal video message opens right away. The card delivers the video, and the video delivers your Perfect Sentiment — something no simple card can do.

Answers to Questions You Might Have

• Is an account or app required to upload or view a video?

  No accounts or apps are required for any aspect of the Perfect Sentiment experience.

• How private is my video?

  Perfect Sentiment is designed to make unintended viewing extremely unlikely. Videos are not publicly listed or searchable, and access is tied to the QR code inside the card. Because no account is required, the video is not connected to a public user profile. You can also add an optional viewing password for added privacy. Still, as with anything uploaded online, discretion is in order.

   

• Can I limit who can watch the video?

  Yes. After finalizing your video, you can add an optional viewing password. If someone else picks up the card or scans the QR code, they would still need the password before watching. For everyday messages, you can skip the password so the recipient can watch without an extra step. Perfect Sentiment cannot recover forgotten passwords, so choose something you can share and remember.

   

• What happens if I forget the password I used? Can Perfect Sentiment help me?

  Unfortunately, no. If you choose to require a viewing password, Perfect Sentiment cannot recover, reset, or override that password.

  That limitation is part of our privacy-centered design. Perfect Sentiment does not require accounts or apps, which means we do not have a traditional account-based way to verify who owns or controls a video later. Requiring accounts would make password recovery easier, but it would also make the system less private and less simple to use.

  If you add a viewing password, it is especially important that you choose something you can remember and share with the recipient. If the password is forgotten or lost, the recipient may not be able to view the video.

• How long will the video stay available?

  Perfect Sentiment is not intended to be a long-term video hosting provider.  Videos will remain available for six months after the sender finalizes them. Each time the video is viewed, the page will show how much viewing time remains and encourage the recipient to download the video before it is removed. Senders should also keep their original video if they want to preserve it permanently.

   

   

   

• Are there limits on the video I can upload?

  Yes. Perfect Sentiment is designed for personal video messages up to 10 minutes long at up to 1080p resolution. Common video formats such as MP4, MOV, WebM, AVI, and MKV are supported, with a maximum upload size of 1 GB.

• Can I upload an intimate video?

  Perfect Sentiment may be used for intimate personal messages, but unlawful, nonconsensual, exploitative, or inappropriate content must not be uploaded. If a video is especially personal, use the optional viewing password and remember that, as with anything uploaded online, discretion is warranted.  You are responsible for what you upload. Do not upload any video unless you have the legal right to share it and you are confident it is appropriate for the recipient.
